Fun Crafts

The husband and I have been doing a few craft projects for our home that's being built and they are turning out great and are so much fun to see them come together! More on that soon, but I wanted to share a few other craft projects I'd like to try and maybe you will too! Some for the home and some just for fun :)

Sweet Summer

I found this super sweet June desktop calendar on the Ruche Blog and couldn't help but share it with you! Such a refreshing backdrop to get your taste buds ready for summer...

Speaking of sweets... I made my first Strawberry Rhubarb pie this weekend and heavens was it delicious! We stopped by the Asheville City Market and bought some lovely smelling bright red strawberries, then a friend in our neighborhood let us cut some stalks of his rhubarb. So the ingredients were super fresh! I used this recipe from thekitchn.com only I did half brown and half white sugar so the pie wouldn't taste too sweet. It was super simple and turned out so GOOD!

 Voila!
