If you live anywhere close to Dallas and you haven't heard of Etsy Dallas' Jingle Bash...I'm telling you now it's awesomeness! I was a shopper last year, and this year I'm a vendor with my Ello Lovey line of prints! Hard work does pay off :) Here's a peek of the line-up of wonderful crafters at this year's Bash on
Nov. 19. You won't want to miss out!

Illustration Friday: Influence

I actually created this for the organization Above the Influence, but when I saw the topic for this week I automatically thought of this piece. Happy Monday everybody!

Alyssa Bonagura @ Douglas Corner

My friend Alyssa Bonagura asked me to create a poster for her upcoming show in Nashville at Douglas Corner Sept. 1st...SO this is the poster! I hand drew everything except for her picture to give it a folky feel.  She loves it and I hope you like my handiwork too :)  I know I've said it many times, but this girl is an amazing singer/songwriter!! Such a great person too! Give her music a listen.

Holy Smokes Batman!! I'm doing the Jingle Bash!

Totally caught me off guard, but I had applied for the annual Etsy Dallas Jingle Bash in November just hoping I could maybe get a chance to be a part of this huge event, and I got the e-mail today telling me I'M IN!!  I had to read it like three times before it sunk in that Yes I am doing this. I can't contain my excitement! I went to it last year for the first time and I told myself I would be doing it this year...and here I am! Woo Hoo!!

Paper Hearts

My friend Alyssa Bonagura is a lovely singer/songwriter and she wants everyone to take a photo of themselves with a cut out paper heart and post it to her facebook wall HERE (along with your name, city, country). Get creative! She is also giving a free download of her new song LOVE REVOLUTION this week as a way to help heal the UK in what they are going through. The photos you post will be a part of her music video for the same song.  Help spread the love around!

Handmade Business Card

For my business card I wanted to use recycled cardboard from boxes of food and such, so I cut them down to size and also hand drew and created my own stamp for them. It gives my cards that level of handmade and personal touch that Ello Lovey is all about.  I love that every card is different on the back. I also never run out of supply :)
